The Mola Crafts Market - also known as "Hippie Market" - has been held twice a week since the 1960s, on Wednesdays and Sundays from 16:00 to 22:00 at Pilar de La Mola. This is the main market of the island. There are about fifty stands presented by the artisans of the island, some of whom settled in Formentera in the 60s. Here you can find a wide range of jewelry, bags, paintings, ceramics, clothing and many products based on natural materials, from wood to stone, leather and silver.
It is a richer market than the night market of Es Pujols and the peculiarity of presenting different local groups in the central square, decorated with mosaic of various colors representing the dove of peace. Only the art markets of Sant Ferran and the crafts of La Mola are objects made exclusively by hand by craftsmen of the island.
