The owner of Ventus is Robert Jan Oberink, a well-known name in the world of sailing cruises. Robert Jan has a lot of expertise and experience in the 12 years he has worked as a commercial manager at a tour operator (Tussock Cruising) in sailing cruises. Ventus Sailing Cruises exists since 2008. The Head Office of Ventus is in Amersfoort, Netherlands with small offices in the UK and Bodrum.
Their regular partners in Turkey are carefully selected. They rent so no gulets of the market. They have their own fleet of wooden yachts. Because of this they can offer you a good price/quality ratio of the yachts, crew and care.

They organize sailing cruises with enthusiasm and respect for nature, environment and the local population with its own use. They sail as much as possible and as little as possible on the engine. The crew comes from nearby villages, provisions on board is often bought from fresh local markets. On board of each yacht they have solar panels.

Citizens of the UK will be able to travel to Turkey without a visa starting 2 March 2020. The new visa-free regime will allow entry for up to 90 days per 180-day period.  Please make sure your passport (also kids!) is valid for at least another 60 days upon leaving the country. Other passport holders should contact their embassy prior to departure.
During your sailing cruise along the Greek Islands you (may) have to start and finish in Bodrum, Turkey, due to new international rules (since 2018). In between you can visit 3-6 Greek islands during a week.
